I’m Ebie —
I don’t take it lightly that you’re here.
WRITER. SPEAKER. PODCASTER.
I’m Ebie—four sweet babies call me mama, and one steady, loving man calls me darling. I’m a writer, a podcaster, and an unapologetic seeker of the world’s best dumpling (the reigning champion sits on the Lower East Side of Manhattan, but the hunt continues).
My heart beats for hope—for igniting it in weary souls and guarding it against a world that tries to steal it away. I’ve walked roads where dreams felt stagnant and shadows loomed heavy, but every step has revealed a God who is steadfast, loyal, and infinitely trustworthy.
It’s my deepest joy and calling to share that truth: no matter the ache or the ashes, hope is alive because He is faithful. And for all my days, I’ll tell that story.
A grateful mess sold on the faithfulness of Jesus.

Sacred Scribbles
Authentic words that explore the delicate dance of holding grief and hope side by side, intertwined in the same breath.

Sometimes I imagine what it would be like to have Sarah, the mother of Isaac, over for tea.
-
I’m learning that sometimes when we pray for healing and get handed a diagnosis, it doesn’t mean God's not intricately committed to a redemptive story, it just means He’s writing the story differently than I’d hoped for…
-
What I expected to break me has indeed broken me. Not in the vein of hopelessness but in the sense that I’ve never had to bow lower and press in deeper with Jesus than through this infertility journey.

You can’t trust and rush at the same time. The weight of waiting is a lot less than the weight of settling. I decided in each new twist and every new turn the only sound coming from my mouth would be a song of trust.

What arteries are to the heart, gratitude is to the soul. With each “thank you” that crosses our lips, our human heart begins beating with a cadence of joy… the kind of joy that transforms into obedience.
